Antwerp Diamonds LLC (“Antwerp Diamonds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website antwerpdiamondstore.com and purchases luxury watches, fine jewelry, designer handbags, diamonds, and precious metals through our offices in Atlanta, Roswell, Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, and Houston.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to our website, our text message program, and information you give us in person at one of our offices.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our website or submit information to us.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Give Us

When you request a valuation through our website, our chat tool, by phone, by email, or in person, we may collect:

Your name
Your mobile phone number
Your email address
Your preferred contact method
Details about the item you want to sell, including category, brand, model, condition, weight, purity or karat, and whether you have original boxes, papers, receipts, appraisals, or laboratory certificates
Photographs you upload of your item and its documentation
Shipping and appointment details if you choose to sell remotely or book a visit

2.2 Information We Collect at the Time of a Transaction

If you sell an item to us or enter into a loan transaction with us, we are required by federal and state law to verify your identity and record the transaction. At that point we collect:

A government-issued photo identification
Your date of birth
Your residential address
A description of the item, including serial numbers and identifying marks
Transaction amount and date
In some locations, a thumbprint or photograph, where required by local ordinance

We collect this information because the law requires it. We cannot complete a purchase or loan without it.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically receive:

IP address and approximate location
Browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages viewed, time on page, and referring website
Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7)

3. Text Messaging and Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile phone number, your text message opt-in data, or your consent with any third party, lead generator, data broker, or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.

3.1 How You Opt In

You opt in to receive text messages from Antwerp Diamonds by actively checking the SMS consent box on our online valuation request form, or by telling a staff member in person or by phone that you would like to be contacted by text. Consent is never pre-selected for you, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of selling an item to us, receiving a valuation, or using any of our services. You can always ask us to call you instead.

3.2 What We Send

If you opt in, you may receive:

A confirmation that we received your valuation request
Follow-up messages from a member of our team about your item, your valuation, or your appointment
Responses to questions you send us

We do not send promotional or marketing text messages, and we do not send text messages about loan offers or solicitations.

3.3 Frequency, Rates, and Opting Out

Message frequency varies based on your activity and your conversation with our team. Message and data rates may apply.

To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not send you further texts. For help, reply HELP or contact us at contact@antwerpdiamondstore.com or (404) 458-2801.

Opting out of text messages does not remove your information from our records, and it does not prevent us from contacting you by phone or email if you have asked us to or if we need to reach you about a transaction.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Prepare a preliminary valuation of your item
Contact you about your valuation request by your preferred method
Authenticate items and assess condition and market value
Complete and record purchases and loan transactions
Verify identity and comply with anti-money-laundering, precious metals dealer, secondhand dealer, and pawnbroker laws
Arrange insured shipping and appointments
Detect and prevent fraud, theft, and trafficking in stolen goods
Maintain business records and respond to disputes
Understand how our website is used and improve it

5. How We Share Your Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers. We use vendors who perform services on our behalf, including website hosting, text message delivery, email delivery, website analytics, banking and payment processing, and insured shipping. These vendors may access your information only as needed to perform their function for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Legal and regulatory obligations. As a dealer in precious metals, gemstones, and secondhand goods, we are required in several jurisdictions to record transactions and report them to state or local law enforcement, and to comply with federal anti-money-laundering requirements. We also disclose information when required by subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to investigate suspected fraud or the sale of stolen property.

Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction. Any successor will remain bound by this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Photographs You Send Us

Photographs you upload or send are used to evaluate your item, to authenticate it, and to keep a record of the transaction. We do not use photographs of your item in advertising, on social media, or on our website unless you give us separate written permission, or unless we have purchased the item from you and it has become our property.

7. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you disable them.

We may use third-party analytics tools that collect usage information on our behalf. We do not permit these providers to use your information for their own advertising purposes.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep valuation requests and related messages for as long as needed to serve you and for a reasonable period afterward for business records.

We keep transaction and identification records for as long as required by the laws that apply to precious metals dealers, secondhand dealers, and pawnbrokers in the state where the transaction took place, which is often several years. We cannot delete these records on request while a retention requirement applies.

We keep records of text message opt-outs indefinitely so that we can honor them.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive identification documents by unsecured email or text.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.

Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us directly.

Access, correction, and deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to opt out of certain uses. Residents of states including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia may have specific rights under state privacy law. To make a request, contact us at contact@antwerpdiamondstore.com. We will verify your identity before responding.

We will honor your request except where the law requires us to retain records, in which case we will tell you which information we must keep and why.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

11. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not purchase items from or extend loans to minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at contact@antwerpdiamondstore.com and we will delete it.

12. Links to Other Sites

Our website links to sites we do not control, including buckheadvault.com, Google Maps, Facebook, and Instagram. This Policy does not apply to those sites. Please review their own privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top. Material changes will be posted prominently on this page. Continued use of our website or text message program after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
